Buddha didn’t believe in God; he simply thought that being a good citizen made the world a better place. This blog is my little attempt to make the world a better place through little reminders that we’re sharing this small planet with 6 billion other people.
All of us, from time to time, get trapped in our own little universe, blind to the people we are impacting around us. Nothing I say here is meant as a criticism, and it’s not to suggest that I haven’t done many of these things myself. I just like to think that we all need a wake-up call on occasion. And I also believe that venting the little frustrations as they happen is far healthier than letting all that bile build up inside until the inevitable explosion.
Think of this as Miss Manners from the 21st-century Philly-boy perspective. I’ll try my best to be polite, but I’m not making any promises. After all, politeness and courtesy/respect are two very different things.
Please, share your experiences in the comment section. Let me know when I’m way off base. I love to hear from the readers, no matter what the sentiment.
